Main instructions
•   In the opening page of the Forum you are requested to register with a username (preferably [name].[surname]) and a password.
•   While it is not necessary to be a member of the MWWD Joint Specialist Group to use the forum, if you are not yet a member of the JSG pls. send in parallel the “Membership to MWWD JSG ” form with your data, to include them in the member list and in our database.
•   Following your registration, we will confirm the acceptance of your registration.
•   “Categories” and “Boards” have been set by the Forum management and cannot be changed by any unauthorized colleague.
Requests to open a new category or a board shall be submitted directly to forum@mwwd.org for evaluation.
•   When you open a new topic, pls. provide to place it in the correct board.
We have limited the post size to 2.000 characters, however the posts shall be as concise and precise as possible. Even if many colleagues understand other languages, the Forum language shall be English.
•   Attachments are limited to one per post and maximum 1000 KB in size. For larger attachments (if really necessary) use the additional options in the “start new topic” or “reply”, browse the file in your computer and it will be automatically uploaded with your post or reply.
•   If the text of the post or of the reply is larger than the above 2.000 characters, pls. post a concise abstract and insert the complete text as attachment. If the attachments to the reply are more than one, you shall send them directly to the interested colleague by e-mail. Pls. indicate in your forum reply the list of the transmitted attachments.
•   If you wish, the replies will be notified by choosing “Notify me of replies” in the additional options menu.

I am Cagan Tunc, from Turkey. I currently work as Site Manager in Mersin Wastewater Treatment Project – Sea Outfall 1800 mm GRP Pipeline Construction. I have a great desire to continue my future education in a related field to my current job. I am searching for a PhD program in Coastal Sciences/Engineering that allows me to utilize my scientific knowledge on oceanography and experiences on coastal engineering. I have achieved my BSc Degree in Hydrogeological Engineering from Hacettepe University, Turkey. I completed my MSc. Studies in Marine Geology & Geophysics Department, Institute of Marine Sciences – Middle East Technical University with a thesis titled “Geology & Geochemistry of Northeastern Mediterranean Surface Sediments”.
